Overview

WooCommerce is a popular open-source eCommerce platform that allows you to create an online store and sell products and services to customers around the world. It is designed for small to large-sized online merchants using WordPress for their online store or website.

The OnlinePay WooCommerce plugin is provided via our payment partner, Verifone and is called the Verifone Hosted Cart.

The Verifone Hosted Cart allows you to integrate your WooCommerce store with the OnlinePay payment gateway. This plugin provides a seamless checkout experience for your customers, allowing them to pay for their purchases using any of the payment methods you have configured for your merchant account.

The plugin can be installed in one of two ways:

• Upload the ZIP file via the WordPress UI.
• Manually, by copying the plugin files to the appropriate location inside the WordPress installation.

Prerequisites

Before you can install the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin, you must download the plugin files. Click the link below to download the required plugin ZIP file:

Once you have downloaded the plugin ZIP file, you can install the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin using one of the methods described below.

Install the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin via the Wordpress UI

This installation process was written based on the default WordPress theme. Other themes may place certain menu items in different locations. If you are using a different theme, you may need to adjust the instructions accordingly.

1. Log in to the WordPress administration panel (generally located at yourdomain.com/wp-admin).
2. Navigate to Plugins, then click Add new plugin.
3. On the Add Plugins page, click Upload Plugin.
4. Click Choose File and select the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin ZIP file you downloaded earlier.
5. Click Install Now.
6. Once the plugin has been installed, click Activate Plugin.

Install the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin manually

You can also install the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin manually by copying the plugin files to the appropriate location inside the WordPress installation.

1. Open your WordPress installation directory.
2. Navigate to the wp-content/plugins directory. If you do not have a plugins directory, create one.
3. Extract the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin ZIP file you downloaded earlier.
4. Copy the extracted plugin folder to the wp-content/plugins directory.
5. Upload the plugin folder to your WordPress installation.
