Configure WooCommerce plugin display settings

Configure the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin display settings for your WooCommerce Checkout page

Overview

After you have configured the Verifone Hosted Cart plugin settings, you can customise the display settings to control how the payment method appears to your customers when they checkout of your WordPress WooCommerce store.

ℹ️

All fields are optional, and include a tooltip to provide more information about each setting.

  1. In the Verifone Hosted Cart > Payments tab, click Display settings.

  2. Configure the display settings that you want to show on your shop Checkout:

    • Checkout type: Choose whether you need the Verifone checkout to be displayed as a standalone page(HPP) where your customers are redirected to perform the payment or as an iFrame (embedded onto your website page).

      • Hosted Payment Page (HPP) - the shopper is redirected to a payment page hosted by OnlinePay to make the payment. Upon completion of the payment process, the shopper is redirected back to your website page. The HPP is fully secure and there is no additional PCI scope required for you with this solution.

      • iFrame - the checkout is displayed as a payment form component on your website, without redirecting the shopper to a new web page. The form is still securely hosted by OnlinePay, so there is no additional PCI scope required for you with this solution.

    • Title: This is displayed on the WooCommerce cart page to your shoppers, indicating the name of the OnlinePay checkout/available payment methods.

    • Description: This is displayed on the WooCommerce cart page to your shoppers, indicating the description of the OnlinePay checkout/available payment methods.

    • Place order button label: This is the label displayed on the button to submit the order on the WooCommerce checkout page.

    • Theme ID: The theme ID to use for the checkout page. This is a custom theme that you have created in the OnlinePay dashboard. See Customise your Checkout for more information.

  3. Check the Enable loading state after placing the order checkbox to display a loading spinner on the checkout page after the shopper clicks the Place order button. We recommend this setting to indicate to the shopper that they are being redirected to the payment page.

  4. The Payment options order includes toggles next to the available payment options. You can drag and drop the payment options to change the order in which they are displayed on the checkout page.
